Alberto's Express Information

Tucked into a convenient strip at Alberto's Express, Alberto's Express feels like one of those local spots you stumble upon once and then keep coming back to without overthinking it. The location is easy to access, with plenty of parking, and it’s clearly a go-to for both quick lunches and relaxed casual dinners.

Walking in, the atmosphere is straightforward and unpretentious, more focused on efficiency and comfort than anything flashy. It’s the kind of place where the aroma hits you right away, hinting at freshly prepared Mexican staples. The dining area isn’t huge, but it’s clean, well-kept, and welcoming enough whether you’re grabbing takeout or sitting down for a quick bite.

The menu leans heavily into classic Mexican fast-casual fare, with burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and combination plates that feel generous for the price point. One thing that stands out is the portion size-burritos here are packed to the point where finishing one feels like an accomplishment. The carne asada has a solid char and seasoning that doesn’t overwhelm, while the al pastor brings a slightly sweet, savory balance that works well in tacos. The rice and beans, often an afterthought elsewhere, are flavorful enough to hold their own.

Service is quick and efficient, which matches the express vibe of the place. Orders come out fast, even during busier hours, and the staff keeps things moving without making you feel rushed. There’s a casual friendliness to the interactions-nothing over the top, just consistent and reliable, which honestly suits the setting.

Looking at online reviews, there’s a consistent theme: people appreciate the value and the dependable quality. It’s not aiming to be a high-end dining experience, and it doesn’t need to be. Instead, it delivers exactly what you expect from a neighborhood Mexican eatery-hearty portions, bold flavors, and a no-nonsense approach to food.

If there’s any limitation, it’s that the menu doesn’t stray far from the classics, so those looking for more experimental or modern dishes might not find much variety. But for anyone craving a solid burrito or a quick taco fix in Greeley, this spot hits the mark without trying too hard.

What People's Say About Place

Okay I have to write a review for this experience. I want to preface this by saying, I love Alberto’s Express and have been eating here since they were in the food court where Cancun is now (iykyk). That being said, I had an absolutely disgusting experience recently. On Friday, Feb 20th around 10:30am, I went in and made a to-go order for 2 chicken and rice burritos smothered in half and half with cheese on top, and a half pint of pork green chili. Ate the pork green chili on some fries at home, it was amazing, as I have come to expect from this spot. I pulled out a burrito to eat tonight for dinner and I have no idea what it even was but it was definitely not chicken or rice and it was the most disgusting meat, I have a queasy stomach even thinking about it. I could tell there were beans and some sort of meat that I thought was beef? But it was extremely salty, hard, crunchy almost, and had pieces that I thought were potatoes at first but I think were actually gobs of fat. I had to throw it all out. Even the green chili couldn’t save it. I just hope a manager or someone sees this because I mean, I’ve been so loyal to you guys, I don’t even go to the original Alberto’s, just the express because I love you guys. But man, this was really really bad. Still giving 4 stars because I don’t want to bring down your rating or anything, I still love y’all, but just pay attention to your orders and maybe do a little quality control.

Visited this location for the first time, and couldn't stop asking myself why I haven't stopped by sooner! They are so close to my house and I've wasted my money elsewhere too many times since moving here. The queso alone was worth the trip! The deluxe smothered burrito wa excellent and they just moved to a bigger location so there was plenty of space to enjoy myself. Do yourself a favor a stop by, you won't regret it!

Great place to pickup yummy breakfast burritos!! ;) And note that they have moved 3 doors to the East, in the same building complex, so they can have more room for a sit down meal! Highly recommend!!

They have amazing burritos here! And they have an option for veggie green chili that comes in mild, hot, or half and half that is so good!

I slept approximately 2.5 hours last night and all I wanted was a potato, egg and cheese breakfast burrito to get me through my day. So I called and was told they stopped making breakfast at 9:30 but she'd ask the chef. He hopped on the line and said it would be no problem and asked how many I wanted. Bless this man! So here I sit - two breakfast burritos in hand far more content than anyone could possibly imagine! And they are delicious!

I totally support family owned businesses, and this was our first time dining in. I brought my daughter here for school lunch. we ordered a smothered deluxe chimicanga and a smothered deluxe bean and chiccharon burrito!! Ummmm, amazing, and everyone that was working equally amazing, we will be continuing to visit for lunch!!! I recommend you stop by!!

Always welcoming and the Food. What can I say about the Food other than phenomenal. Best Food in town.

The green chili is legit here! Heat if you want it and full of flavor. Shredded beef was good and I would like a thicker tortilla but that’s just me. The Spanish rice was spot on.
